Deep research into psychographics, market trends, competitive landscape, and brand positioning ensured that we were on-target with Gen Z customers for this seasonal multi-brand campaign. MJC worked with closely with Sephora’s internal creative team to develop the creative strategy and art direction for “Hot Summer Hair”. The campaign hinged on four trend-worthy styling stories that worked for both the participating products and our target audience.




Retail Design
Store experience was the primary driver of the campaign with creative solutions needed for windows and front-of-store displays. Both on-talent and product photography needed to pair with each of the key hairstyles.

Email was key to telling the brand stories and how to achieve each look when matched to the featured hair styles in a purchase-friendly layout.
