Zenni was the first company to offer direct-to-customer online prescription lenses and frames. On the mission to supply “Eyewear for Everyone”, Zenni delivers a solid value proposition with thousands of frame and lens options to a broad customer demographic.
Rimless Campaign
MJC conceived and art directed this roadtrip inspired campaign highlighting the lens shape and tint combinations available in Zenni’s new rimless collection.
MJC led the conceptual development, branding, art direction, and graphic design for ReMakes, an environmentally friendly collection of frames for Men, Women, and Kids. Each frame is made from reclaimed ocean plastic.
Packaging Design
The packaging needed to be as environmentally sustainable as the product. MJC led the packaging design and development, using a recyclable paper tube that doubled as a shipping container. Shipping labels could be applied directly to the exterior of the tube, which was designed to withstand specific crush pressure through the shipping process.
Each ReMake frame is constructed from the equivalent of three water bottles worth of plastic. MJC led the design team in creating simple graphics to explain this concept.
Landing Page
Zenni uses Content Management Systems for all landing page creation. I led the design team, partnering closely with the development teams, to create dynamic shopable site pages for desktop and mobile. We were able to add innovation by featuring looping video in the header.
Animation
I led Zenni’s in-house imaging team to create this stop-motion animation to show how each of the ReMakes frames contain three plastic water bottles worth of ocean reclaimed plastic.
Social
Image and video were heavily featured across multiple Social Channels. The launch of ReMakes was timed to sync with Earth Month.
